Welcome to Meetspaces.co. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Meetspaces.co website and services (collectively, the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
1. Nature of the Platform
Meetspaces.co is an online marketplace that enables registered users (“Hosts”) to list coworking spaces, meeting rooms, and professional offices, and other users (“Guests”) to book those spaces.
Meetspaces.co does not own, create, sell, resell, provide, control, manage, offer, or deliver any Host Services. When Guests make a booking, they are entering into a contract directly with the Host. Meetspaces.co is not a party to the contractual relationship between Hosts and Guests.
2. User Accounts
- Registration: You must create an account to list or book a space. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Terms for Guests
- Bookings: A booking is a limited license to enter, occupy, and use the Host Service for the duration of the booking only.
- Fees: You agree to pay all charges specified during the booking process, including the space rate and any applicable service fees or taxes.
- Cancellations: All bookings are subject to the Meetspaces.co Cancellation Policy [Read Policy].
- Damage to Property: Guests are responsible for leaving the space in the condition it was in when they arrived. Guests are responsible for the cost of repairing any damage caused by them or their invitees.
4. Terms for Hosts
- Listings: Hosts must provide accurate descriptions, pricing, and availability for their spaces.
- Safety & Compliance: Hosts represent that their space complies with all local zoning, building, and safety regulations.
- Insurance: Hosts are encouraged to maintain their own business liability insurance. Meetspaces.co is not responsible for any loss or damage to the Host’s property.
- Payouts: Meetspaces.co will collect payments from Guests and remit payouts to Hosts (minus service fees) according to the designated payout schedule.
5. Prohibited Conduct
Users agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose.
- Circumvent the Platform by booking a listed space “offline” to avoid service fees.
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
- Transmit viruses or malicious code.
6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- “As-Is” Basis: The Platform is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
- No Warranty: Meetspaces.co does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any Host Service.
- Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meetspaces.co shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Platform or any interactions between Users.
7. Indemnification
You agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold Meetspaces.co harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your breach of these Terms or your use of the Host Services.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Bethesda, Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
